My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophie is a breathtaking all-white beauty with a heart as gentle as her soft fur. Born on January 5, 2025, this sweet girl has already shown incredible strength and resilience. Once found struggling to survive on the streets with a serious uterine infection, Sophie received the surgery and care she desperately needed. With expert veterinary help—and plenty of love—she’s made a full recovery and is now ready to begin the next chapter of her life.

Sophie is the very definition of a lap cat. She adores being close, purring contentedly as she soaks up every bit of affection. She blossoms with one-on-one attention and would be happiest as the ONLY PET in her home, where she can be the center of someone’s world. A calm, quiet household with older children (13+) and no dogs would be perfect for her—a place where she can feel safe, loved, and truly at peace.

Sophie is spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, parasite treated, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped.

Now all she needs is a loving heart to call her own. Sophie is ready to fill her forever home with warmth, comfort, and endless purrs.

PLEASE READ:
1) I do home visits for all the cats/kittens for adoption. I am not currently able to adopt to anyone living more than 1 hour outside of Rochester, NY.

2) I require a vet reference and will contact them.

3) Most of the cats in my care come from the streets and have had a bad start in life. They usually would do best in a home with older children and NO dogs.

4) All the cats/kittens that are up for adoption will be spayed/neutered, have age appropriate vaccinations, combo tested and treated for fleas and worms.

5) An approved application is necessary prior to a meet and greet,

More about this rescue

I am a caretaker of city cat colonies and a trapper. I do rescue a few cats and kittens along the way. Lately I have found many friendly cats and abandoned cats that I am trying to find homes for.

All the cats that are up for adoption are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate vaccinations, combo tested and treated for fleas and worms.

The adoption fee helps me to recoup some of the costs and allow me to continue to TNR and rescue homeless and abandoned cats in the city.
