My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This pretty kitty is Larkspur. She is 2-years-old and weighs 7 lb. Larkspur is at a foster home, not at our shelter. Her foster says "Larkspur is a striking young lady who is soft to the touch and easy on the eyes. She is being raised in a home environment and gets along well with the resident cats and other fosters. She is used to the sounds of dogs in the residence, but is not exposed to living directly in their presence. Larkspur is litterbox trained and reliable. She enjoys being close to her people by sleeping on the bed or the couch near them and will ask for attention by rubbing up against your legs. She is not tolerant of heavy handling and is not as of yet one that wants to be snuggled up on your lap. She is not one to get under foot and would therefore be a nice companion for an older individual. Larkspur may not be the best choice for families with young children. If you are looking for a young adult cat to share your space with and enjoy gentle together time, but not looking for a cuddle buddy, Larkspur is your girl!" Larkspur is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and healthy. Her adoption fee is $175. If you would like to meet/adopt Larkspur, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-online-adoption-application/. Email daws@daws.org with questions or for more assistance.
