My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mavi, a senior lady who knows exactly what she likes and isn’t afraid to enjoy life at her own pace. Her ideal day is spent stretched out in a sunny window, soaking up the warmth and watching the world go by. While Mavi can coexist with other cats, she does best with calm, gentle companions, as she can be easily overwhelmed by more assertive personalities. Independent by nature, she enjoys her personal space but will seek out affection when she’s ready, offering sweet, meaningful cuddle time on her terms. Easygoing about food and ready to settle in, Mavi is hoping for a quiet home with older children where she can relax, bask in the sunlight, and enjoy peaceful couch snuggles in her forever home.

More about this rescue

Founded in 1990, Nuzzles and Co (formerly Friends of Animals Utah) was just a small group of animal lovers lobbying for a new shelter facility. Today, we are a full-fledged animal rescue and rehabilitation organization with an adoption center, dedicated staff and board of trustees, and a 15,000 sq. ft. facility that includes a full veterinary suite, indoor and outdoor training spaces, miles of hiking trails, and a community cat room with an attached "catio."
