My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Duke – Active Dog, Bigger Personality
Duke (D-5873) is a 2-year-old Mastiff / Pit mix who was surrendered simply for being too energetic and too big (which, honestly, feels like a compliment). He’s been an outside-only dog, but he’s ready to learn what the good indoor life is all about.
Duke’s vibe:
• Casually barks at everything… and also nothing
• Goofy and full of energy
• Friendly and social with other dogs
• Good with cats, though he may try to turn them into playmates
• No known history with kids, but based on his temperament, we believe he’d do well
What Duke needs:
• Space to stretch those legs
• Structure, training, and patience
• Someone who appreciates a talkative dog with opinions
Ideal home:
An active household that understands big dogs come with big personalities. Duke will thrive with consistency, exercise, and people who see his size as part of his charm, not a problem.
If you’re looking for a lovable companion who will keep life entertaining, Duke is ready to meet you!
