Judy (A139677) is a 10-month-old Jersey Wooley rabbit who weighed 3.7 pounds on intake!
Medical: Judy arrived at the shelter and was seen by the shelter vet. She has finished her treatment for syphilis and is cleared for adoption! Judy was quite sassy through her treatment but she just says she is spirited!
12/28/25 Judy, previously known as Paige, has found herself back at the shelter due to her family not feeling they can appropriately keep up with her grooming needs. As a long haired rabbit she does need to be brushed to avoid any matts. She also needs regular sanitary trims to avoid any issues with things collecting in her hair. She is an outgoing girl who seems to enjoy the company of care staff at the shelter. Judy will of course need all the normal bunny things: free access to timothy hay, a measured pelleted diet, and space to stretch her legs! If you are interested in meeting Judy, please give us a call!
09/19/25 This sweet little bun is Paige! Paige arrived at the shelter as a stray in rough shape. She was found at a transfer site and brought to us, underweight and battling infection. She has been seen and treated by the shelter vet and received further treatment outside of the shelter thanks to our wonderful Shelter Fund! Now she is ready and raring to go! Paige has been outgoing with members of the care staff, coming to greet them at her kennel door when they approach. She has not been reliably using her litter box, but things can change! If you are not familiar with bunnies, and especially if not familiar with jersey wooly bunnies, we highly encourage doing some research prior to inquiring about adoption. These luxurious, long locks take some maintenance in order to keep a happy and healthy bunny! In addition, Paige will need all the normal bunny things: free access to timothy hay, a measured pelleted diet, and space to stretch her legs! If you are interested in meeting Paige, please give us a call!
