These two sweet souls came to us when their previous owner realized they weren’t able to give them the daily attention they deserve. Sundae and Maraschino are a bonded pair of Bourke’s Parakeets — gentle, friendly birds with soft voices and calm personalities that make them wonderful companions for the right family.
About Sundae & Maraschino
• Bonded Pair: These two are 3-5 years old, and have always lived together.
• Friendly & Social: Sundae is the more outgoing of the pair — she loves attention and will happily interact with you. Maraschino is a little more reserved, but once he trusts you, he enjoys time out of his cage and gentle interaction too.
• Active & Curious: They enjoy exploring outside their cage and benefit from regular out-of-cage time.
• Home Comforts: They are currently thriving in a large flight cage — and the cage will come with them when they are adopted!
What They’re Looking For
Sundae and Maraschino would do best with an experienced bird family who:
• Understands the social and mental needs of Bourke’s Parakeets.
• Can provide daily interaction, enrichment, and gentle handling.
• Has a safe space for supervised out-of-cage time.
