Meet Niko, a sweet, gentle, and loyal boy who’s ready to find his forever home. He lived outside in Paterson NJ for most of his life and was severely injured, causing him to be fully blind (one eye removed and the other doesn’t have sight). He may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his affectionate side shines through. He loves cuddles and will happily curl up in your lap for pets, especially head and chin rubs, and sometimes even roll onto his side for a little extra love.
Even without his eyesight, Niko is brave and patient, quietly learning his surroundings and approaching life with gentle curiosity. He’s calm by nature and loves to nap and relax, often staying close to his humans for extra comfort. He’s happiest in a calm, loving and patient home where he can seek guidance and also be a true companion.
Most days, you’ll find him lounging nearby with his little legs crossed in front of him, content just being close to you!

The specific mission of the Organization is to assist in the following:
- Rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming homeless, abandoned, or stray cats and kittens.
- Implementing and promoting Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs to humanely manage and reduce the feral cat population.
- Providing medical care, food, and shelter to cats in need.
- Educating the public about responsible pet ownership, the benefits of spaying/neutering, and humane methods of animal population control.
