This smart, goofy, and cuddly boy just wrapped up a 5-day foster "staycation," and we have the inside scoop on what makes him such a catch!
Lio is the definition of a "people person"—his foster family says he is very much a fan of everyone he meets, including kids. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you laughing and keep you active, Lio might be your perfect match.
🐾 The Lio Lowdown:
• Personality: Cuddly, goofy, smart, and a little bit mischievous! He’s an athletic guy who loves to play.
• Social Life: He is super friendly with people. He met a 9-year-old and did great (just a little jumpy with excitement!). He’s also been curious about dogs and could do well with a high-energy "playmate" after a slow introduction.
• Trainability: Lio is a star student! He already knows "sit" like a pro and is highly treat-motivated, which makes training a breeze. He’s also working hard on his crate training and showing progress every day.
• Good Manners: No resource guarding here.
• While he’s interested in outdoor kitties with some hard stares, he’s easily redirected with simple "kissy noises."
🏠 Lio’s Ideal Home:
Lio would thrive with an active family who can give him plenty of exercise before bedtime. He’s a "velcro dog" at heart who just wants to be part of the action. He responds great to verbal cues like "aht aht" and sweet noises.
He’s such a good boy that his foster parent is already planning to take him back for another weekend adventure!
