Looking for a smart, loyal companion? Say hello to Noah! This handsome 1-year-old, 39lb Cattle Dog mix with a coat as unique as his personality. He’s got those classic black-and-white markings with adorable speckled spots that will make you fall in love at first sight. Noah is the perfect blend of puppy energy and adult manners. He’s already mastered the "big dog" basics: he is both house trained and crate trained, making his transition into your home a breeze.
A Note on Noah’s Health:
Noah is currently heartworm positive, but don't let that scare you! Heartworms are not contagious to other pets or people, and Noah is currently beginning his journey to being 100% healthy. What treatment looks like: Medicine: Noah will undergo a series of injections (and usually a round of antibiotics) to eliminate the heartworms. Treatment costs are covered by the rescue.
The "Slow Life": The most important part of his recovery is keeping him calm and quiet during treatment—think "leash walks only" and lots of mental stimulation like puzzle toys instead of high-speed chasing.
The Finish Line: Once treatment is complete and he tests negative, he can return to his full, active self! Noah is looking for a "healing hero" to help him through this temporary phase. In exchange, he promises a lifetime of loyalty and speckled snuggles.
