Hello! I’m Eye of Newt, the most magical (and chill!) ingredient in the pot! If you’re looking for a kitten who is totally "unbothered," I’m your guy. New places? No problem. New people? I’ll have them charmed in seconds! Everyone who meets me instantly falls in love, and can you blame them? I’m a high-energy, shoe-loving, pom-pom-chasing machine. I’m famous for my "sparkly pom-pom" hunting skills and my very loud, rumbling purr. If you sit still long enough, I’ll climb right up to give you tiny kitten kisses—it’s my specialty! I'm a huge lover with the loudest purr ever and I always want to be by my person's side. I'm happiest when I'm snuggling close to you or when I'm causing mischief with my brothers and sisters.
My "Special Recipe" (Megaesophagus Care):
I do have a bit of a unique "spell" when it comes to my health. I was born with a condition called Megaesophagus. This just means my throat is a little sleepy and doesn't always know how to push food down to my tummy on its own. But don't worry—I don't let it slow me down! I just need a family who knows the "secret instructions" to keep me healthy:
Gravity is my Bestie: I need to eat my meals from a raised dish so I can stand up tall while I eat. This let's gravity do the work my throat forgets to do!
The "Smoothie" Life: I eat a delicious wet pate food that is easy to swallow. No dry crunchy bits for me—I’m a fine-dining kind of guy.
A Little Extra Patience: Sometimes I might need to hang out in an upright position for a few minutes after I eat to make sure everything lands in my tummy where it belongs. It’s the perfect time for extra chin scratches!
What My Forever "Cauldron" Needs:
A Fellow Wizard: Just like my siblings, I’m a team player. I must be adopted with one of my siblings or go to a home with another kitten buddy to wrestle with.
A Committed Caretaker: My Megaesophagus is a lifelong thing, so I need a family who is ready to stick to my feeding routine. In return, I promise to be the bravest, cuddliest, and most playful boy you’ve ever met.
I might have a special need, but I have an even more "special" heart. Are you the one to help me work my magic?
A Note for Potential Adopters (The "Technical" Stuff):
Feeding Style: Cats with ME do best with "vertical feeding." This prevents food from sitting in the esophagus, which can lead to regurgitation or, more seriously, aspiration pneumonia.
Consistency: Keeping his food to a smooth, pate-like consistency helps it slide down easily.
Monitoring: His new family should keep an eye out for coughing or "wet" sounding breaths, but otherwise, ME kittens can live very full, happy lives!

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Eye of Newt will need to be adopted with one of their siblings (Magic Broom, Grimoire and Toe of Frog).
The adoption fee for a kitten is $250. For a pair, the adoption fee is $500.
Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.
