This laid-back boy is cat friendly, dog friendly, and all-around easygoing. He’s the kind of Pyr who’s happy to lounge by your side, soak up affection, and just enjoy being part of a family. Calm, sweet, and thoughtful, he’s truly looking for love.
His journey to TGPR started when he spent a weekend hanging out with some hunters who quickly realized he was too special to leave behind. Wanting the best for him, they reached out to TGPR, and we guided them to one of our trusted partner shelters to make sure everything was done the right way. After his stray hold ended and he passed his evaluation with flying colors, it was time for his freedom ride and the start of his next chapter.
Skipper is ready for a forever home where he can stretch out, relax, and be adored the way he deserves.

TGPR helps Great Pyrenees that are considered at-risk for physical/mental injury, cruelty and abandonment and that may be subject to euthanasia and inhumane treatment.
