Tab is a lovable girl who truly shines once she’s had time to settle in. It took about a month for her sweet, playful purrsonality to fully emerge, but once it did, she showed just how special she is. Tab came from a community cat colony in Mount Angel and has adjusted beautifully to indoor life.
She’s an easy cat to care for and does well with other cats, though she mostly prefers to keep to herself. Tab enjoys gentle pets, isn’t very vocal, and loves playtime with laser lights and wand toys. One of her favorite routines is patiently waiting for her evening treats.
Tab is currently being fostered in Silverton and is ready to find her forever home. Could that be with you? Fill out our adoption application, and we’ll be happy to set up a time for you to meet this sweet girl.

Adoption Fees:
• $100 for adults (12+ months)
• $125 for kittens (under 12 months)
All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.
We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets.
Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs
Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home.
Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized.
Adoption Requirements
To ensure safe and compatible placements, we require:
• A completed adoption application
• A home visit
