Candy Cane new to rescue, she was found with 2 other little dogs as strays. Candy Cane, female, Chihuahua/Yorkshire Terrier mix. She is about 4-5 months old. CC is typical high energy puppy, she is non stop playing running in circles happy puppy. CC does good with housetraining if gets out every few hours, does not potty in bed at night. When she slows down she can be a great lap dog. She loves all dogs & cats. She would be good with older respectful children. She will need spayed and rabies prior to adoption, has had her 2nd core vaccine. Located in southern Idaho transport is provided within the Pacific northwest. Fees range between $150-$650. An adoption application, followed by a check of references, such as Veterinarian, and a home check and or pictures. After which the board will go over all the information and decide what is the best for the animal.

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
