My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Yes
Good with kids: Yes
Crate trained: Working on it
House trained: Working on it

George is a precious, smart pup ready to steal your heart! This medium-energy boy loves playing with his dog friends and then settling in for a good cuddle session with his humans. George would do well in nearly any home ready to welcome a puppy and provide him with the love and consistency he needs to thrive.

George is a playful, friendly boy who gets along wonderfully with dogs of all ages and sizes. He's fostered with other pups and would likely do well with or without a canine sibling. He lives peacefully with a cat in his foster home and shows no interest in chasing. George is great with people of all ages, including children, and loves showering them with affection. He has typical puppy energy with periods of playing hard with his siblings before resting and recharging.

George is an intelligent boy who is eager to please his humans. He is working on his crate training and will improve with time, structure, and consistency. As a typical pup, George is working on mastering potty training and will continue to improve with a regular schedule and routine. He is learning his leash manners and will gain more confidence with each walk.

This sweet cuddle bug has so much love to give. Could he be the one for you?

More about this rescue

Our mission at Last Hope K9 Rescue is to save every possible dog we can from being euthanized within high-volume kill shelters throughout the U.S.

As the literal “last hope” of nearly every animal we serve, we work tirelessly to place each one within a stable, loving environment that can act as either their forever home, or the gateway to their forever home. We also strive to ensure that all of our adoptions and foster placements are the optimal fit for everyone involved, including our dogs. This leads to our second goal: enriching human lives through canine companionship. To us, you can’t have one without the other.

Lastly, we promote animal welfare by lobbying important initiatives that both protect and give voice to the voiceless. By fostering an environment of collaboration with other organizations that share our goals, and working together instead of in competition, we find that we accomplish more.
