Meet Bodie! Bodie is approximately 5 months old, 20 lbs currently and he might have some hound or heeler in his mix!
Bodie`s story is a tragic one. He was kicked as a puppy and needed emergency care. It was touch and go if he would make it. Ultimately he has suffered broken bones that have healed but left a lump on his back. He also has a wonky gait at the moment and will benefit from physical therapy in the future.
Despite all of that, he`s a happy-go-lucky, silly puppy!
In his local foster home, he is doing great with his house and crate training. He needs to always be walked on a harness to prevent any future damage to his neck/back.
He could go to a home with kids 5+, dog-savvy cats, and other calm dogs.
His foster says, `Bodie has had a rough start in life, but his heart is full of hope and ready for a fresh beginning. He absolutely loves car rides, enjoys playing with both people and other dogs, and thrives on companionship and fun. Bodie is now looking for his forever family—someone who will give him the love, patience, and happiness he’s been waiting for, and in return, he’ll give endless loyalty and joy. ????`
