My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mira — A Gentle Tripod Kitty Looking for a Patient, Loving Home 💜🐾

Mira is a beautiful long-haired tripod cat who has been through a lot and is searching for a very special home. She is shy and nervous in new environments, and from what we know, she previously lived outdoors before suffering a leg injury that required amputation. Since October, Mira has been in a foster home recovering and learning what it means to feel safe indoors.

Mira is slowly gaining confidence and warming up, but fast movements and loud noises still frighten her. She would do best in a quiet, calm home with patient adopters who will allow her to adjust at her own pace. Despite her shyness, she enjoys the company of other cats and likes playing with her foster brothers. She’s also beginning to explore cat toys and show her playful side. She enjoys sitting up on a cat tower and watching out the windows.

With time, understanding, and love, Mira has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. If you have a peaceful home and a gentle heart, Mira may be the perfect match for you. 💕
