Meet Gunther! He is a 3-year-old black and white shorthaired cat who came to us as a stray and most likely has only known life outdoors so far. Everything about indoor living is new to him, and while that can feel overwhelming at times, it also means he has so much potential ahead of him. Gunther will need a calm, patient adopter who understands that learning the comforts of a home takes time and gentle guidance.
We’re still getting to know Gunther as he settles in, and we’re hopeful that his personality will continue to emerge during his stay with us. With consistency, kindness, and the chance to move at his own pace, Gunther could discover that soft beds, full food bowls, and safety are pretty great after all. About the Adoption

Animals go home at the time of adoption. Adoption Counselors invest time with you to make sure you’re fully informed before you leave and have all the resources you need to introduce your new pet(s) into your home.
After the Adoption
About a week after you adopt, a CAHS Adoption Counselor will follow-up with you to see how things are going and offer assistance should you need it.
