My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Noel is a 12-year-old Lhasa Apso who is RESCUE ONLY due to her age and medical needs.
She was surrendered to the shelter in very poor condition. Because Noel was already blind and had severe discharge and infection in both eyes, the shelter made the medical decision to enucleate both eyes to relieve her pain and improve her comfort. She also received a full dental cleaning and polishing, with no teeth needing removal.
Despite everything she has been through, Noel deserves a safe, quiet place where she can heal and enjoy her golden years with patience and love.
Why Rescue Only
• Senior (12 years old)
• Medical needs requiring continued care
• Blind (both eyes removed for medical reasons)
• Previously severely matted, needs ongoing grooming and comfort care
If you are a licensed rescue and can help Noel, please reach out as soon as possible or contact the shelter directly.
