My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zuko is a shy boy with a tender heart. He is rarely far from his best friend, Lucy. Wherever she goes, he follows. With Shadow Cats' and Lucy's help, Zuko has learned to enjoy pets. He and Lucy race to greet their foster mom at the door. The two of them follow her around asking for pets (and Churus!). They are a wonderful, affectionate duo with a lot of love to give and get.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
