Alexi came to us as a stray and is a fun, playful, and energetic boy who’s excited to learn and show off his potential! He’s a sweet pup with a happy personality and a curious mind, always ready for his next adventure.

Alexi has been very tolerant of handling and does great on his walks, making him an enjoyable companion to take out and about. As a young and energetic dog, he would benefit from consistent basic obedience training to help keep him on the right track and continue building good manners.

At this time, Alexi has shown friendly interest toward other dogs and may do well with a canine companion. A meet and greet is recommended to ensure the best match. If you have the time, energy, and love to invest in a smart, eager-to-learn pup, Alexi might just be your perfect match! 🐶✨

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
