Pickels is a super friendly fellow who was found living outside in the Poconos. He was being fed by a nice lady but she knew he was way too friendly to be living the hard outdoor life so she reached out to the rescue. His foster mom did not have a space available to take him immediately but when he showed up with an injured tail, she took him home anyway.
We are not sure what happened to Pickels, but he needed about 1/2 of his tail amputated due to the severity of the injury. Pickels has fully recovered and is now ready to find his forever home. His foster mom says his short tail gives him more character! He is an outgoing kitty adjusting quickly to new places and people. He enjoys attention and is fine with being held.
Pickels likes to be where the action is so he can supervise what's going on. He gets along well with the other kitties in his foster home but would be fine as an only kitty too. He seems to be tolerant with dogs as well.
Pickels is about 2 years old (as of 12/31/25), neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV.
