Esme
A Caring Mother, Ready for Her Own Home!
This stunning cat arrived at the shelter with her second litter of the year. Despite being so young herself, Esme has shown exceptional dedication as a mother, always ensuring her kittens were well cared for and safe.
Now, Esme's time as a mother is coming to a close. She will be spayed before she finds her forever home, so she can focus on enjoying a life filled with comfort and affection. Esme truly deserves a place where she can be pampered and loved—a home where she can reign as the queen she is. Please consider opening your heart and home to Esme

The Stone County SPCA was organized in 2009 and opened a shelter in 2012 in Wiggins, MS. We have always been a no kill shelter. Our biggest challenge is the high demand to place dogs and cats in our shelter. Currently, we take in approximately 1200 animals annually. We do not euthanize animals for lack of space. We have a live release rate of 95%. We do this by keeping adoption fees low and transporting a large percentage of our animals (65% of our dogs and puppies).
