Why I need a new home

Found or abandoned

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dear RescueOne Team (or appropriate rescue group),
I am reaching out in a desperate situation regarding a 1-year-old female dog named Lady that I rescued after she was completely abandoned across the street from my home in Ozark, MO. She had been left alone in a house for at least two weeks with no care, food:

• She requires core vaccinations (including rabies, which we have scheduled for this Friday at McClure Veterinary Clinic in Ozark).

• She needs spaying (she appears to be pregnant).

• Her front shoulder is severely damaged, likely requiring surgery or amputation.

• She has a history of abuse and has never been contained, so she has lived her entire life running free on the streets. Is calm and relaxed in house and back yard.
Despite these challenges, Lady is remarkably sweet, submissive, gentle, and sound-tempered. In spite of her trauma, abandonment, injury, and lack of medical care, she remains loving and non-aggressive.
