Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ABOUT CANTON
Meet Canton, a super sweet boy who’s full of enthusiasm and affection! This jumpy, playful guy is still working on his manners and would benefit from continued training to help him channel all that excitement. Canton loves food and toys, making him super motivated to learn! He’s been improving on leash with consistent walks, though he’ll need continued practice, and he’s still working on house-training, as he does his best to hold it but has occasional accidents in his kennel overnight. He hasn’t destroyed his blankets or other kennel items, which is a great sign! Canton is super affectionate at heart and enjoys pets, cuddles, and quality time with his people. While we know he means well, due to his size and energy, Canton would do best with humans large enough to keep up with him, while teaching him calm, polite behaviors. With guidance, structure, and love, Canton has all the makings of an amazing companion!
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Additional adoption info
Our adoption process is designed to help you and your family find the perfect match in a pet. When the right match is made, we strive to conduct our adoptions thoughtfully, transparently, and with the utmost respect. You can view and submit an adoption questionnaire online ahead of your visit by going to our website: humaneanimalpartners.org. A questionnaire is not required to come visit us, but we will have you fill one out if interested in meeting with our animals. We strive to make the best match possible for you and for the animals. Most of our pets can go home same-day and come vaccinated, spay/neutered, and microchipped.
