🐾 Meet Winston Carolina! 🐾

Winston Carolina is a 2-month-old mystery mix weighing in at about 3 pounds of pure love. With his possible shepherd/terrier looks and soulful puppy eyes, he’s guaranteed to steal your heart in seconds. Based on his current age and size, we expect Winston to stay on the smaller side, likely under 25 pounds when fully grown. 💙

Winston and his sister Salem were found as strays at just 2 weeks old, and thanks to an incredible Good Samaritan who bottle-fed them, Winston got the chance to grow into the happy, affectionate pup he is today. Now he’s ready for the next chapter—finding his forever family.

This little guy’s favorite place in the world? Your arms. Winston is a true velcro puppy who wants to be wherever you are, whether that’s on the couch, in the kitchen, or following you from room to room. If you’re looking for a constant companion, Winston is your boy. 🥰

He’s doing wonderfully with his puppy basics in his foster home and is already making great progress with house training. Of course, he’s still a puppy, so continued training and patience will help him keep learning and growing.

We're open to the public Saturdays from 10am - 2pm. Appointments are available during the week.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
