My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This joyous boy is a perfect blend of two wonderful breeds; lab and husky.

He loves the opportunity for long walks and has enough energy and enthusiasm for a whole day of activities with his new owner!

When you're not outside exploring you will always be able to find him in one other place... your lap! Despite his size he is an absolute lap dog, who adores affection.

Dakota also previously lived with other dogs his size and has spent plenty of time around children as well.

If you are interested in bringing this uniquely lovable dog home please apply for him today!

Additional adoption info

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
