My name is Ivan!

Meet Ivan — a big, lovable goofball with a puppy heart!

Ivan is full of energy and enthusiasm for life. He loves meeting new people, exploring his surroundings, and soaking up all the attention he can get. If you’re looking for a fun, lively companion, Ivan is ready to bring the joy!

This handsome guy is still very much a puppy at heart, complete with big paws he’s not quite sure how to manage yet — which just adds to his charm. He knows “sit” (he’s still perfecting it!) and is eager to keep learning with someone who will guide him.

On leash, Ivan can pull — there’s just so much to see and not nearly enough time! With a little patience and consistent training, he’ll make a great walking partner.

Ivan has had positive interactions with other dogs, but he can come on a bit strong at first due to his excitement and size. Because of this, meet-and-greets are recommended to ensure a good match.

If you’re looking for a big, happy, playful companion who will keep you smiling, Ivan might just be your guy.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.

In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
