SoCo Rescue was contacted by a local groomer who was facing a dilemma. One of her customers had boarded his medium-sized female dog and her seven young puppies during a recent cold snap, which saw our temperatures dip to well below freezing. Knowing that the owner was having difficulties providing even the basics for mom and pups, she convinced him to let her find a new home or rescue to take the dogs. That's when the groomer contacted us. It took a couple of weeks, but we were able to take in both mom and all of her pups. From this litter comes

Don't dare come meet Fulton unless you're ready to have your heart stolen! He'll bring you endless days filled with love and warmth, devotion and, did we already say LOVE! This playful, friendly and smart fellow will make a great addition into almost any home.

By the time Fulton is ready for adoption, he will have received 2 of 3 of his first year puppy vaccinations, scheduled de-wormings and other preventative care. He's also been started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. His adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and providing verification of such to our rescue. Fulton will require all of his basic training.

An application must be submitted prior to meeting our dogs. After your app has been approved, we will set an appointment to meet

Interview

Phone/In Person interview conducted.

3.
Meet the Pet

An appointment to meet the dog(s) is set. A home visit is required. If all goes well at the meeting then the adoption will be finalized.

A number of our dogs/puppies may not be listed for adoption as they may be going through their vaccination/assessment period. We encourage people to give as much information about what they're looking for in a new pet as possible. Chances are, we may have what you're looking for.

Our facility isn't set up for "open" visitations; in keeping the safety of both our dogs and potential adopters safe, we require that an appointment be made prior to allowing visitors inside our building.

"SoCo Rescue" is a registered 501(c)3 organization with a valid GA Dept of Agriculture Rescue license.
Our mission is to provide a safe haven for those animals that we take in and work diligently to place them into the right home.
While we house only dogs at our facility, we do work with other groups that have cats available for adoption. We try to help any animal in need, regardless of it's species
