Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Elodie, a sweet, sensitive soul who is looking for a patient and understanding home where she can truly blossom.
Elodie is a brown tabby female born in May 2025. She is a shy girl who is still learning that people can be trusted. Each morning she greets her foster with a little hiss (her way of saying “I’m still nervous”), but this is fear-based, not aggression.
Elodie is making steady progress. While she still runs from her foster, she no longer hides, which is a big step forward and shows that she wants to be part of the world around her. Like the other kittens, she’s curious and observant—it’s simply a matter of learning to trust, and she’s working on it every day.
Because of her personality, Elodie needs a quiet home with a calm, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. She would do best in a household without young children; older, patient children who can respect her space may be considered.
Elodie may also thrive if adopted with a confident, friendly cat, as a feline companion can help her build confidence and show her that humans aren’t so scary after all. For this reason, adopting her with another cat or kitten is encouraged.
To support bonded or companion adoptions, we offer a discounted adoption fee when adopting two cats or kittens.
If you have a soft spot for the shy ones and the patience to help a timid kitty grow into herself, Elodie could be an incredibly rewarding companion.
