My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful Colby was left out in the cold when her family moved away. A neighborhood family decided to keep her brother, but couldn’t keep those. They fed her outside for a while and then they found us. Colby is very sweet and loving towards humans. She got along with her brother, so we know she can get along with at least one cat, and there was a pitbull or a pitbull mix in the home from which she was left behind

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Foster homes.

2.
Submit Application

The application requires a vet reference and two non-family personal references. Our app asks for employment info, address & year started.

3.
Interview

We speak to the adopter by phone and again in person.

Additional adoption info

We also like to meet other family members and room mates. If someone is renting, we check with the landlord to be sure pets are allowed. We adopt out 2 kittens at a time to prevent boredom and loneliness. One kitten can be adopted only if there are other pets in the family.

We are Lauren’s Lost Cats Rescue. It is our mission to reduce the population of cats on the streets, while simultaneously educating communities about TNRV. For those cats that are friendly, we find fosters and/or permanent homes.
