My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Little Bit!

I am a 2yr old 31lb female Fiest/Terrier mix.

My foster mom says that I am a total love bug and that she would have named me Angel or Precious because I am both! She also calls me “wiggle butt”. I just want to be with my person(s).

I LOVE cuddles! I am house broken and I sleep all night /stay quietly in my crate when my foster mom has to go on “errands” (whatever they are).

I LOVE walkies and I walk really good on a leash. Mom says I need a harness though, because my ancestors were hunters - and I am very nebby.

I try to play with my foster brother but mom says he is an “old fart” and just wants to sleep.

My next door neighbor has two cats. I’ve only met them through the storm door but we just look and don’t bother each other.

I know how to “sit” and “stay “ but I’m just too peppy to do either for very long. (Mom says I need to work on that.) I don’t shed too much or bark a lot (only when there are interlopers around the house).

Mom also says I am sweet, playful, intelligent and very energetic. I can’t wait to find my forever person/family! Could that be you?

Everyone MUST submit an application to be considered for adoption

Interview

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

Home Check

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
