My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there folks! I'm Jazzy and 2026 is going to be the best year ever!

My first six years were pretty rough for me. I have been a puppy making machine, without much love in my life. Then something amazing happened. I was whisked away by some wonderful people and ended up at this pretty cool place.

There is a nice lady who is so gentle and kind to me. My new sisters and brothers are trying to show me what it means to be a "happy pup!" It will definately take me some time.

I am learning what steps and doorways are, where to go potty, and that all people aren't scary!

Things that I have learned about myself:

*My fur is so soft after my first bath here.

*I love chicken and cheese!

*My favorite spot for pets is under my chin, but I have to trust you first!

*My "trick knee" is actually called a luxating patella.

It's going to take me some time to understand just how wonderful this new life can be. I will need patience, kindness, and gentle love. I am excited to learn how to play, but it will have to be on my terms and not too rough, because of my "trick knee."

I can't wait to find my forever family!!

**This dog was rescued from a breeding situation. Every dog is different, but here is some information on what bringing a breeder dog into your home can be like and some supports they may need to transition into their new life! While it can be challenging at first, it is incredibly rewarding to see these dogs grow and come out of their shells. Please give them a chance if you are able! https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/puppy-mill-rescue-dogs-transition-home-life
