My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Midnight!

This sweet little shadow is Midnight — a 4-month-old, 12-lb mixed breed pup with equal parts playful puppy energy and professional cuddler vibes.

Midnight’s Highlights:
• 4 months old
• 12 lbs (and growing!)
• Mixed breed
• Kid-friendly
• Dogs & cats: unknown
• Bone enthusiast (he will hide them for later… genius move)

Midnight is still learning the ropes of puppy life and will need a consistent, patient home to help him master potty training. He’s improving with crate training too — shorter crate times work best for him right now.

When he’s not zooming around being a goofball, Midnight is happiest snuggled up with his people. Fair warning though… this guy is not a fan of Buffalo winter — cold paws are a hard pass for him, and sweaters may become his personality.

If you’re ready for a fun, cuddly, bone-hiding puppy who just needs guidance and love, Midnight might be your perfect match (38)

More about this rescue

Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 dog rescue organization and completely foster-based in the Western New York area. We pull dogs and puppies from high-kill rescues all over the country that are on lists to be euthanized. We place them in foster homes until they find their furever homes here in WNY. Every dog that is saved opens up room for another. So in essence two dogs lives are being saved!!
