My name is Jake!

Jake is a pup with a bright mind and a big heart. He is curious, alert, and eager to learn — the kind of pup who notices everything and loves having a job to do (even if that job is following you around).

He’s still very much a puppy, which means he’s playful, energetic, and soaking up training like a sponge. Jake would thrive with an adopter who enjoys walks, games, and teaching new skills. With consistency and patience, he’s going to be an amazing companion.

Jake would do best in a home that can give him mental stimulation, exercise, and structure, and in return he’ll give loyalty, enthusiasm, and lots of happy tail wags. If you’re looking for a smart, fun young dog to grow up with you, Jake is ready to be your sidekick.

Good with cats: Can be a bit much for cats, would do best in a home without them 
Good with young children (under 10): Very friendly but due to herding instincts, we'd prefer older children

Apartment qualified: No due to age and potential size restrictions

We believe this puppy/dog is possibly a heeler mix and was born around 7-22-2025. This puppy/dog is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $300 which helps cover the cost of vetting procedures. Adoptable pets will have received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, heartworm test (if applicable) and a spay/neuter.
