If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Champ Chance, who largely goes by Chance, was rescued from the streets of Van Nuys as a kitten and has lived with the same owner since 2016. He is playful and friendly, but does not always want to be touched. He would thrive in an environment that allows him to climb, perch, play, and explore. He would likely do best in a single cat household. He has lived with a dog previously, however he and the dog largely avoided one another and did not have any conflicts. When stressed, or left alone for long periods he can engage in marking behavior. His current owner’s living situation has changed leaving him with limited space and attention, and the situation is no longer the best environment for him. Chance needs a new home that he can thrive and be his best self in.
