Other dogs: very friendly, very playful with other dogs. Would love a play buddy

Housing: We are looking to put him in a house with backyard space.
Personality: Chico is a darling Pug. He is very active and playful. We can see his potential, but as he learns a new routine he gets overwhelmed easily. Chico is such a darling Pug. We don't think he was treated very kindly prior to us. He was teased, and we are hand feeding him to help him cope and he's doing well.
What we know: Chico's prior owner became ill and the extended family has surrendered him to rescue. They did not know much about him. Chico is a beautiful Pug. He has a sweet expression filled face. We are trying to get him into a foster home to work on some house manners as he easily becomes frustrated. We also need to confirm whether he is truly housebroken. We are working on some basic commands, such as sit, off and stop. His new owner must have some time on their hands to help this dog.cope while settling into a new household routine
