Here's what the humans have to say about me:
⚓ Meet Gilligan- the forever skipper to your home! ⚓
1-year-old Gilligan is setting sail and ready for his next adventure! This gentle boy loves perching up in the crows nest of his cat condo and watching the birds fly by. Equally amazing is squeeze up treats, brushing, and comfy beds to get enjoy his well earned cat naps.
Gilligan is just starting to learn about toys (he gives wands wriggled on the floor and stuffed toys two paws up) and has not yet discovered the beauty of sitting with his person, but we think he's close! He enjoys pets and cheek scratches, and would love to have his own person who has the patience to allow him to become the snuggler he seems destined to be!
Gilligan is FELV+, meaning he will need to be the only cat or can bunk with another FELV+ feline. He's happy, healthy, and ready for smooth sailing to his forever person. If you think you could be Gilligan's match, please fill out an application today!
FELV is a virus that affects cats. It can not be passed onto humans or dogs. To learn more about FELV, please visit the link below.
Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/
Please Note:
If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed.
About Ten Lives:
Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.
Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!
All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
