Here's what the humans have to say about me:
💌 Dear Future Valentine,
I know we haven’t met yet, but I wanted to tell you a little about myself. My name is Missy, and I promise to love you forever. ♾️
I’m a 3-year-old Lab mix with a soft heart and a gentle soul. I can be a little shy at first (new people make me nervous), but I’m learning to be brave every day. Especially when kindness, patience, and snacks are involved. 🥰
I already know how to be a good girl. I’m crate-trained, housebroken, and I even use a doggie door. I don’t chew things I shouldn’t, and I’m discovering how fun toys and playtime can be. Benebones and rope toys are some of my favorites. 😍
Other dogs make me feel safe, and I’d love a playful pup sibling to help show me the ropes. Once I trust you, I’ll stick close like a loyal little shadow who just wants to be near you, cuddle with you, and feel safe by your side. 💞
I don’t need a loud or busy life. A calm home and someone who understands that trust might take just a little time would be perfect for me. If you’re patient with me, I promise my love will be deep, loyal, and true. 🫶
So… if you’re looking for a Valentine who will love you 4 ever, I might be your girl. 🤍
Love,
Missy 🐾
We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason.
Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.
