Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Maverick
I am a 1 year old, (soon to be) neutered black Lab. I am (soon to be) microchipped, heartworm tested and current on my vaccines.
3 words that describe me: Playful, reserved, goofball.
Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: “Shy at first but warms up fast with treats!”, “Loves playing fetch”, “Sweet and playful guy once he comes out of his shell”
Housetraining Status: Working on it, needs training.
I should do well in a home: I should do well in a home with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. I am required to have a dog to dog meet with any dogs in the home to make sure I am compatible with them, before going home. I have never met a cat before so my humans don’t know how I will be around them. I would do great in homes with children of any age but may prefer a quieter home due to my initial shyness.
My favorite activities are: I’m a big fan of my toys. Rope toys and squeaky toys are pretty great, but nothing beats a good tennis ball!
Things I need work on are: My confidence with new things, I’m a little shy at first. I also need some work with my house training as I sometimes have accidents.
Any special needs: None
Doggy day out notes: None yet
Daycare Status: I haven’t attended daycare yet, maybe some day.
My adoption fee is: $300
Training Requirement if applicable: None
