My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chevelle is a very special girl with a tender heart and a quiet sweetness that shines once she feels safe. She’s a little shy and understandably nervous about starting a new chapter after such a wonderful, loving beginning to life, but she has nothing but love to offer the family who gives her time and patience.

Chevelle may take a little while to open up, but when she does, she forms deep, meaningful bonds that make her person feel truly chosen. She enjoys lounging in cozy, enclosed spaces where she feels secure, yet she’ll happily venture out to say hello when her trusted friends are nearby.

She loves her kitty siblings, Kachina and Nakoma, and takes comfort in their presence, though she may be a bit timid when meeting new animal friends. Chevelle has the softest coat and absolutely loves being brushed—just a few gentle strokes are enough to bring out her surprisingly loud purrs, a sweet reward from this quiet girl.

Chevelle would thrive in a calm, peaceful home where she can feel safe and loved, allowing her beautiful personality to blossom at her own pace. With patience and kindness, she will become a devoted and affectionate companion to the lucky family who welcomes her home.
