Mavis is a gorgeous diluted calico that is pure of heart. She is incredibly affectionate and lives for cuddles, pets, and being close to her people. If your looking for a cat who just wants love (and gives it right back), she's your girl. She is looking for a loving home to spend her golden years!
Mavis enjoys quiet moments, cozy naps in sunny spots, and being near her favorite humans. She’s litter box trained, has excellent manners, and would thrive in a home looking for a loyal, easygoing companion. She does great with dogs. With the right introductions, she could settle nicely into a home with friendly pets—or she’d be equally content soaking up all the love as your one-and-only.

Mavis is currently in Houston, Texas, but can be transported to the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or cities along the route.

ROSES (Reducing Overpopulation: Spay/Neuter Education & Support) exists to conduct outreach, community education, fundraising, and service navigation to encourage spay/neuter for dogs and cats in overpopulated communities.
"ROSES Rescues" is an offshoot of this mission that helps the strays, rescue transfers, and owner surrenders that our volunteers and partners encounter and need help matching with forever homes.
We are located in Houston, Texas and are a FULLY foster-based rescue with no physical shelter location. We proudly transport our kitties to wonderful adopters in the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, Colorado, and locations along those routes, so please feel free to check out our pets and see if we have a transport spot close to you!
