Gallagher is a 10-month-old German Shepherd / Husky mix, neutered, and currently about 50 lbs and still growing. This handsome boy is the total package — incredibly friendly with people and other dogs, with a tail that never stops wagging.
Gallagher is food-motivated and eager to learn, which has made training a success — he’s even graduated to off-leash time on property. He’s smart, happy, and thrives on engagement.
As you’d expect from his breeds, Gallagher has lots of energy and would do best in an active home, especially one with another playful dog or humans who love being on the go. He’s the kind of pup who wants to be part of everything and will shine with the right outlet for his energy.
Gallagher is still just a baby and needs a safe, committed home now so he can continue growing into the amazing dog he’s meant to be.

We are a small team of dedicated volunteers making a huge impact by saving hundreds of lives each year from high-kill shelters or those abandoned in the community. If the Pet you are inquiring on is no longer available, chances are we've got another one that will perfectly suit your family!

As a foster-based rescue, we don't have an actual facility however we will respond to inquiries within 12 to 24 hours in order to discuss the pet you are inquiring about, arrange a meet and greet when possible (or video meet and greet). Arcadia Animal Rescue is a foster-based rescue comprised of volunteers who are dedicated to saving the lives of animals that are at-risk either in shelters or in our communities, and placing them into safe and loving foster or adoptive homes.
As a 501c3 organization that receives no federal funding, we rely on the generosity of donors in order to provide life-saving veterinary care, spay and neuter, behavioral assessments and modification, emergency boarding, and transport to foster/adoptive homes.
