Foxy has the world’s most iconic resting grumpy face. He may look serious in photos, but don’t be fooled: underneath that expression is a total sweetheart with a heart of gold.
Foxy is about 7 years old and spent much of his early life surviving outdoors. Those days are behind him now, and he has fully embraced the indoor life. Comfort, affection, and quality lap time are his new priorities — and he excels at all three! Once Foxy decides you’re safe (which usually takes less than a minute), he becomes an affectionate, people-loving companion who enjoys headbutts, attention, and being close to his humans.
Despite his tough beginnings, Foxy is a social butterfly with other cats. He gets along well with friendly felines and would truly thrive in a home with another cat (or two!) to keep him company. He may also do well with a cat-savvy dog. While he hasn’t been tested with children, his gentle and affectionate nature suggests he could be a wonderful fit with respectful kids.
Foxy is still discovering the joys of playtime and is beginning to show his playful side — it’s been a delight to watch his personality continue to bloom in foster care.
One small but important note: Foxy has a chicken allergy and does great on a chicken-free diet. Easy fix, and he’s feeling fantastic!
Foxy is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, and he’s ready to start his next chapter in a loving home.
