My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pearl, the shelter’s liveliest little kitten and a shining bundle of joy! Full of curiosity and energy, Pearl spends her days exploring every corner, turning even the simplest things into exciting adventures. Nothing escapes her notice, and she approaches the world with fearless enthusiasm.

Pearl’s sweet and friendly nature makes her a favorite with everyone she meets. She loves to share gentle purrs, playful paw taps, and plenty of affection. Brave and outgoing, she’s often the first to greet new visitors—always hoping for a fun game or a cozy cuddle.

Pearl is positive for Feline Leukemia. Which can be managed and she can live a full life, but may be best suited to a single cat household.

With her loving personality and zest for life, Pearl would make a wonderful addition to any home. If you’re looking for a spirited, affectionate companion who will fill your days with laughter and love, Pearl is ready to shine in your life. 🐾✨

More about this shelter

Asheville Humane Society is about hope, not heartache. As Buncombe County’s critical safety net since 1984, we are always here to save and protect every animal. We have mastered the art of saving lives within our walls and now we are going even further, helping our community’s pets and their people thrive together. We are going beyond a no-kill community to ensure that each animal has the quality of life they deserve – a life worth living.
