Meet Ricky — 15 months

Ricky is a gentle, easy-going young cat who truly fits into just about any home. At 15 months old, he’s past the kitten craziness but still full of playful charm, making him a perfect companion for families, couples, or anyone looking for a loving feline friend.

Ricky has the best of both worlds when it comes to personality. He enjoys his independent time and is happy to relax on his own, but when he’s ready for affection, he absolutely loves to curl up in a lap and snuggle in close. His calm, docile nature makes him especially wonderful for homes with children or anyone wanting a sweet, steady companion.

As an indoor cat who has lived comfortably with other cats, Ricky is well-socialized and adaptable. He knows how to share space, make friends, and settle in with ease.

Submit Application

All applicants must be prepared to provide proof of home ownership or a lease showing the pet will be allowed in the home

2.
Approve Application

applicant will need to provide photos of the property detailing fencing and overall yard. More may be required

3.
Interview

Interviews may be done in person or on the phone or at time of meet and greet.

PETCO - CATS
Cat and kitten adoptions EVERY Saturday from 1-4pm and at the Napa Petco located at 3284 Jefferson Street, Napa, CA 94558.

PETCO - DOGS
Dog and puppy adoptions EVERY Saturday from 12:00-4:00 at the Napa Petco located at 3284 Jefferson Street, Napa, CA 94558.

More about this rescue

Whiskers, Tails and Ferals is a network of volunteers and foster families caring for dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens who have been abandoned, are feral, or are facing the threat of being euthanized at an animal shelter.
All dogs and cats that come into our program are spayed or neutered. Felines are FeLV and possibly FIV, vaccinated, wormed (as needed) and micro-chipped.
All sick animals are immediately put under the care and supervision of a Napa veterinarian and Whiskers, Tails and Ferals pays for their medications.
The cats and kittens that are not able to be tamed, are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and returned to their colonies where colony guardians continue to feed and care for them.
