My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nora 🤍 an Australian Shepherd mix with the softest, gentlest soul.
Nora is both hearing and sight impaired, but she is incredibly smart and learns new things quickly with kind, patient guidance. She experiences the world through touch and closeness, and she truly thrives when she’s near her humans while she explores and plays. When you pet her, she completely melts into your hands and soaks up every bit of affection. Nora is calm and chill, much more laid-back than your typical Aussie, and she’s an absolute dream in her crate, sleeping like a rock through the night. She enjoys human interaction, gentle play, and being guided as she learns about her surroundings. Nora is working on potty training and continues to make progress. She is a truly special dog who will do best with someone ready to offer love, patience, and connection.

More about this rescue

We help animals who are in need by placing them in a loving foster home, providing medical care, and finding the perfect home for that animal to live in for the rest of its life. Tails of Hope takes mainly dogs, but has occasionally helped other animals in need. We take animals in through shelters and other rescue organizations, as strays, or as owner surrenders from people in our local communities.
