My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dewey! 🐾 This little guy is the ultimate cuddle buddy—seriously, if snuggles were a sport, he’d be a gold medalist. Dewey is smart, loyal, and full of sweetness, always curious about what’s going on around him. He loves following his humans everywhere, joining in on the fun, and then crashing for a well-deserved long nap.

He’s been doing an amazing job with potty training and is crate-trained, making him a dream pup for a family ready to give him love, guidance, and plenty of playtime. Dewey’s favorite things? Play, cuddles, and discovering all the little adventures of daily life!

*Applications are open now, but Dewey won’t be able to go home until January 30.

More about this rescue

We help animals who are in need by placing them in a loving foster home, providing medical care, and finding the perfect home for that animal to live in for the rest of its life. Tails of Hope takes mainly dogs, but has occasionally helped other animals in need. We take animals in through shelters and other rescue organizations, as strays, or as owner surrenders from people in our local communities.
