I got Icarus from one of my ex-girlfriend’s acquaintances, who found him curled up on a tire next to the engine of a car, trying to keep warm. That’s how he got his name—Icarus, because he almost flew too close to the sun. He was about 2 months old when we took him in, and he’s now a little over 3 years old.
I’m looking for someone who has the time to spend with him and who will allow him to explore and roam indoors as freely as possible. The adjectives I would use to describe Icarus are curious, but cautious, playful, and very loving. He loves to be picked up like a baby and cuddled or petted. He’s a little skittish and standoffish at first, but give him some snacks and a few pets, and you’ll be good friends in no time!
