Why I need a new home

Human health issues (e.g. allergies, sickness)

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We got Henry from a breeder who was on Long Island (who since relocated to North Carolina). He was born in April of 2017. We gets along with our dog and our other cat. Our kids are grown now, and he does not get the sort of love and attention he needs, as well as a new member of our family who often visits but is extremely allergic to him. His only special needs would be that he needs regular brushing, and he takes lysine powder on his food once a day. He had one episode 7 years ago that looked a bit like it could be feline herpes. The vet said it is common and to give lysine once a day to prevent it, and if he has any excess sneezing or other symptoms, to give it twice a day. He has remained free of any such trouble.

Henry would do well in a home with regular activity and people around. He loves attention, unlike our other cat who is more self-sufficient and keeps to herself. He loves to be stroked from his head to his tail. He is mister affectionate.
