HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org

- A very large, loving lady who will win your heart
- Will thrive in a more mature home; young, busy children are not a good fit for her
- Is not a fan of other animals, and needs to be the only pet in her new home; if you do have another pet, a VERY slow introduction will be required to set her up for success
- Doesn't mind having her tummy rubbed, but will let you know when she has had enough
- Looking for a committed adopter who will help her lose some weight
- Enjoys being brushed and will benefit from an adopter who will be devoted to brushing her and keeping her looking her best!
All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
